My mother, Deb Olstad, left to return to her home in San Diego yesterday. We miss her already. It was great to have her here, not only for the literally invaluable help she provided while we (still) shuffled Meredith in and out of the hospital, doctor’s appointments, labs, etc, but also just for her company and support in what has turned out to be a much more difficult time than any of us expected.

The weekend before she left, we all piled in the minivan (yes, I’m a minivan driver, LOL) and headed down to the Atlanta Botanical Garden for a nice long visit. Here’s the pictorial record. 🙂

  1. I bet you do miss your mom – just wanted to let you know that I think about you guys all of the time.  Meri and Jack are gorgeous children.  I love your pics at the garden.  Ethan was looking at them with me and asked many questions – he asked if one of the pics of Meri was Ella!!  He said she looked Bootiful in blue!!!  Hugs to you all!!  Missy
